Happy skies. Happy babies. Happy Mummas. Happiness is like sunshine. It’s not always visible, but you know it will always return.
Happiness can be made, it can be discovered. Happiness can be shared. It is
an endlessly renewable resource. It is not something that you need to hold onto for all hours of your life, and trying to do so can be exhausting. Just like anything, it has its seasons and its times when it will bloom. You don’t have to fake it, but value it when it comes to you. Soak it up like sunshine, and spread it around like confetti.
Happiness is not a state of being, but an endless resource we can use to refuel
our hearts and minds and bodies. It can also live in our memories. A happy Mumma is the best gift you can give to your child.
Happiness is beautiful and catching. Use it and make it and celebrate it. Even
within grief and hard times, in it’s moments- let it shine.
