HotTea Mama have created an anti-oxidant rich white tea with whole rose buds, creating a soothing, rejuvenating blend.
White tea is high in both caffeine and theanine (a relaxing compound). Whilst the caffeine level is higher than a normal builders brew, the theanine gives it a slow release effect.
Rosebuds have been used for millenia to ease menstrual cramps, and can help with any pain post-labour.
A perfect blend for any new mama.
How much caffeine is in Newborn Wonder tea?
The white tea HotTea Mama use as the base for Newborn Wonder blend, means it has around 90mg per cup. This is lower than a filter coffee which has around 140mg per cup. But it is higher than a cup of builder's tea (75mg). It is safe to have when pregnant or breastfeeding, as NHS guidelines are that you should limit caffeine to 200mg per day. Just be aware that you shouldn't have more than 2 cups of this tea a day.
Delicately floral – mellow white tea and fragrant rose
White Peony has a soft, delicate flavour with notes of melon and cucumber.
Rose buds are sweet and floral.
In combination, Newborn Wonder tea is uplifting, delicate and balanced.
HotTea Mama don’t recommend adding milk or sugar, but follow your cravings and personal taste!
